Through this product, we were trying to solve how to streamline the process of creating electronic consents on the iPad, or eConsents for short.

The current process of creating eConsents for researchers involves the researchers creating a Word document, then passing it back and forth between different departments, specifically to the governance team to get the content approved, the design teams to get designed for the iPad, and the development team to build the eConsents. Any changes that they had made to the eConsent would have to go through this process over again, making it harder for researchers to instantly edit the eConsent.

Certior aims to alleviate this issue by creating a content management system that allows researchers to directly create and edit the eConsents themselves.
